Comprehensive Aircraft Management Programs

Once you become a management client of The Air Group, we assign a dedicated customer service representative to coordinate all aspects of your aircraft’s operation. Having this single point contact within the company is extremely helpful to clients in many ways. Among other things, it enables them to immediately convey to The Air Group specific flight requirements, get an up to the minute status report on their aircraft, check on maintenance or financial data, and so on. Above all, it provides clients with the welcome time saving convenience of having one phone call to make to learn anything they want to know about their aircraft.

Logistics and operations of all aircraft managed by The Air Group are controlled by our Flight Operations Departments in Los Angeles and New York. Through our integrated computer network system, Air Group flight coordinators in each branch office have instantaneous, worldwide access to all critical information pertaining to Air Group flights, aircraft and crew.

Exceptionally broad insurance provisions protect all Air Group aircraft on a worldwide basis. As a buyer of fleet policies, we are able to offer our clients better coverages at highly competitive rates, and tailor coverage to meet specific insurance needs. For example, the minimum liability limits of $100,000,000 can be expanded upon request to more than $750,000,000 in coverage. We would be happy to discuss your precise requirements.

Air Group flight crews, from the captains to the cabin attendants, regularly receive training far exceeding that which the FAA specifies. In addition to requiring monthly Computer Training System sessions, our Director of Training schedules semi-annual recurrent training for Air Group flight crews at major training centers such as FlightSafety International and SimuFlite. As a substantial and long-time customer of these training centers, we are able to realize volume purchase advantages for our owners’ crews. Our criteria for crew employment are exceptionally demanding so that we and our clients can be sure that their aircraft are always in the most capable hands.

Significant fuel savings are enjoyed by our clients through Air Group-negotiated contract fuel programs. These savings are available at selected facilities throughout the United States and the world.

Complete operational and financial reports every month are an intrinsic part of The Air Group’s Comprehensive Management Program. Our detailed computerized account analysis presents all expenditures (and revenues for charter clients) on both current month and cumulative annual bases, including fuel, maintenance, crew salaries, hangar, insurance and other costs. Besides the financial report, clients receive a monthly Aircraft Usage Report which provides an all-inclusive operational analysis of flight activities covering flight and crew log summaries, utilization by department and/or authorizer, average mission profile, passenger operations and operational performance.

There are many facets to the efficient management of a corporate aircraft. Most of these are obvious needs. But, there are also hidden or subtle requirements which, unattended, can make the difference between a successful, effective program and one which falls short of expectations. Even our clients don’t always recognize these needs, but they count on us to. And we do.
